This page explains how to request access, correction, export, deletion, consent withdrawal, objection, restriction, or account closure. These workflows are designed to support GDPR-style privacy rights.

1. Your choices

Shelvly aims to give users understandable control over their account and pantry data. Data Controller: Newlux Multiservice LDA. Some self-service tools are placeholders until the MVP deletion/export workflows are completed. TODO before public launch: confirm the final privacy contact email, company address, and registration/tax details.

2. Requests you can make

Depending on applicable law and context, you can ask us to help with these data rights.

  • Access the personal data linked to your account.
  • Correct inaccurate account, profile, invite, or pantry data.
  • Export your data in a usable format where technically feasible.
  • Delete your account and eligible pantry data.
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Close your account and stop using the service.

3. How to request help

Use the cards below or email privacy@shelvly.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on account, export, or deletion requests.

4. Timing and limits

We will try to respond within reasonable GDPR-style timelines where GDPR applies. Some requests may be limited by shared pantry responsibilities, legal obligations, security needs, backups, or technical constraints.

5. Supervisory authority

Portuguese users may contact CNPD, the Portuguese supervisory authority. Users in other regions may have the right to contact their local data protection authority.
