2. Types used by Shelvly
Shelvly currently uses storage for necessary service operation and user preferences. Optional analytics and marketing are not currently implemented.
Preferences: language, theme, cookie preference choices, and install/home-screen dismissal state when used.
Analytics: not currently used. If added later, analytics should stay disabled until consent is given.
Marketing: not currently used. Marketing cookies are not used unless added later with consent.
3. Consent approach
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are required for the service. Optional analytics and marketing storage should be disabled until consent is given.
Necessary storage cannot be disabled because the service needs it to function.
Preference storage can be managed by the user and is used to remember app choices.
Users should be able to change optional preferences if optional tools are introduced.
